Despite the lack of promotion, Into the Woods has been highly anticipated due to the cult following of Stephen Sondheim’s much loved musical. So far, no trailers have featured music from the upcoming musical. However, today audiences can witness glimpses of Sondheim’s original score from his 1987 stage musical, and the most fleeting moments of the cast singing, mixed together with exclusive interviews.
The film features a remarkable ensemble cast made up of Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, James Cordon, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine, Johnny Depp and Tracey Ullman, Christine Baranski, Daniel Huttlestone and MacKenzie Mauzy.
